Dear Loker School Community,

I hope that you are well. I am writing to inform you that we briefly went into our Stay in Place protocol as there was a Loker student who needed medical attention this afternoon.  For precautionary reasons, the student was transported to a local hospital. The good news is that the student is expected to be fine. Medical personnel and firefighters were in the building and a few students may have seen them. In addition, a few students might have seen some flashing lights through the window curtains coming from the parking lot. 

I just want to be transparent about what occurred this afternoon in case your child mentions this situation to you. As always, we are here to provide support to any students who need to process this further.
