The Wayland Fine Arts Department encompasses arts education offerings in the Wayland Public Schools grades K-12 in the fine and performing arts.  Courses include K-12 visual art and general music, grade 3-12 strings, grade 4-12 band, grade 4/5-12 chorus, grade 6-12 drama. All staff members are certified and experienced educators in their areas of instruction.  We believe that all children are entitled to a strong foundation in the musical, dramatic and visual arts.

The Wayland Music Department has been recognized by the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) as a Best Community for Music Education in 2009-2010, 2010-2011, 2011-2012, 2012-2013, 2013-2014, 2014-2015, 2015-2016, 2016-2017, 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25!  #SUPPORTMUSIC
